After you have shared a resource with Jorum you may decide you’ve missed out a certain detail and would like to add something else. To add new data, once you have logged in, click on Deposits in the right hand menu You’ll be shown your completed deposits. Click on the edit metadata link next to the resource you want to add data to. The first bit of new metadata you can add is some free text Click on the menu to add a keyword, the language the resource is written in, a new title, a new author or a new description. Then click in the text box underneath and add the information. You can add more than one new piece of free text metadata but you must remember to click on Add New Metadata after each one. The other metadata you can add are all chosen from menus Firstly, the Educational Use lets you choose the environment within which the resource is intended to be used. The learning resource type allows you to say what the resource consists of. The time required lets you specify the amount of time the intended users should devote to fully understand the resource. Finally the Educational Role the type of user group the resource applies to. When you’ve finished, remember to click on Add New Metadata. If you don’t do this your changes won’t be added.
